My background is education.  I retired from the Jackson, MS Public School District after many years in the classroom (2nd grade).  The last few years I worked as an Early Literacy Specialist, training and supporting classroom teachers.

While I was still in the classroom, I completed my certification training in Choice Theory and Reality Therapy.  After using these concepts to change how I managed the classroom, I undertook further training with the William Glasser Institute.  I am now a faculty member of the Institute.

After retirement, I ran my own consulting and training company, working with schools and publishers to improve instruction.  I later returned to full-time employment with America's Choice, Inc as a Literacy Specialist, supporting classroom teachers and Literacy coaches in school. 

While I continue to work part-time with the Kirkland Group, I continue to offer coaching and training as a Transformational Educator.  I am currently completing certification as a Law of Attraction coach through the Quantum Success Coaching Academy.
